Eat Scottish Venison

National Eat Scottish Vension Day takes place on the 4th of September 2009. Much of the venison available on the market in Scotland is imported and as a supplier of exclusively Scottish wild venison, Donald Russell will certainly be backing this campaign.

Our red deer venison is genuinely wild, so the flavour is much richer than farmed venison, and a naturally free-range lifestyle makes red deer meat healthily lean and low in cholesterol too

Roe deer meat is milder in flavour and finer in texture than red deer venison, which is why connoisseurs regard it as top of the range game. Our roe deer venison is genuinely wild, and we prepare it to the highest kitchen ready standards for convenience.
